The Geo Dome Glamping at The Fold Hereford 6

The GeoDome

The Dome is a well-rounded stay, in more ways than one. Its circular design holds quite a few secrets hidden from the outside, our favorite being the custom-made skylight for counting stars as you drift off in the bespoke king-size bed. Upon approach, you'll spot the vast window on the far side giving you a breathtaking view of the sloping hills.

Outside

The Geodome sits surrounded by sprawling nature. Whilst winter might see you curled up listening to the wood burner crackle and rain pitter patter on the roof, reading books from the shelf on the sofa, summer will have you outside dining al fresco on the table, or draped over a bean bag firepit-side. There’s plenty of nature to find on these 18 acres of pasture land, from sheep dawdling in their fields, bees lazily traipsing from bluebell to snowdrop, and the babbling stream meandering throughout.

Living Space

Find yourself snuggled up on the sofa listening to the roar of the wood-burner, enjoying a good book and the quiet of nature surrounding you. If you’ve come in search of adventure, you might spend the daytime hiking The Black Mountains 15 minutes’ drive, or lunching and canoeing in Hay-on-Wye 24 minutes away. In any case, escape or escapade, you’ll come back to a dip in the wood fired hot tub, and dinner cooked in the covered kitchen area out on deck (next to the shower block) and hop through its bifold doors from hob to tabletop outside. In a separate building on your balcony you'll find your private bathroom complete with shower, toilet and sink. Thanks to the passionate conservation work of the Pritchard family, the space is off-grid, with compost loos, solar power and spring water running through the taps. Whilst it does have electricity, it's USB only, so don’t pack the hairdryer!

Bedroom

If you came here for the stars then look no further than the GeoDome. Lying in your king size bed, you'll have a clear view of the sky above you from the skylight. Complete with USB plugs and bedside lights, you'll struggle to want to get out of bed, perhaps the draw of a moka coffee enjoyed on the balcony might get you out and moving. We won't judge if you decide to have it in bed..and breakfast too!

Guest Testimonials

"We had an amazing time at the treehouse this week and we were so impressed with how the treehouse has been built and the layout inside it was perfect. It was so peaceful to wake up in the morning to the birds singing and nothing around, it was perfect and we will definitely be returning!!"
